Welcome back! We hope that you had a wonderful summer vacation and that you enjoyed some special, quality time with your children. Our theme this year is "School is Cool: Peace, Love, and Learning at Eagle Ridge Elementary." We celebrate our academic success as an "A" school and a recipient of the Golden School Award, due to our high rank in academic learning gains and community involvement. We would like to thank our DREAM TEAM of students, teachers, staff, parents, and community volunteers who gave their ALL in making this happen! This year we continue to maintain academic focus with special emphasis on communication. As a result, we will continue having our "Coffee with the Luckiest Principal" chats, the first Tuesday of the month. Our first conversation will take place on Tuesday, September 7 at 7:30 a.m. in the Staff Development Room (Media Center Complex). We will be talking about "What's New for 2010-11." We look forward to seeing you there! Our Open Houses will take place as follows: PLACE, Kindergarten, First and Second grades, Wednesday, September 15 from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and Third, Fourth, and Fifth grades on Wednesday, September 15, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. In the meantime, if you would like to volunteer, feel free to contact Ms. Rardin, Volunteer Coordinator at 754-322-6300. Please remember that volunteers MUST log on to www.getinvolvedineducation.com BEFORE they report to school. Thank you.
